Government Support for the Digitalisation of Singapore Charities and Social Service Agencies

With digitalisation as the forward moving trend now, it is not just in the interest of commercial entities to adopt IT solutions to improve their productivity for profitable gains. Non-commercial organisations, such as the charities and social service agencies, will also need to embark on digitalisation quickly in order to improve their operational efficiency.
In view of this, the local government has initiated several funding schemes that support such non-commercial entities to also digitalise and adopt suitable software solutions for their operations.
Support Available
There are 2 key sources of funding available:
1. For Charities
Charities registered in Singapore can tap on the Charities Capability Fund (CCF) to adopt any of the pre-scoped digital solutions that are approved under the Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG).
Some of the highly sought after software solutions include Accounting, HR & Payroll, E- Signatures, Digital Marketing etc.

2. For Social Service Agencies (SSAs): Tech-and-Go for Social Service Agencies
For the SSAs that are registered under the National Council of Social Service, they can tap on the Tech-and-Go Start Digital programme to adopt such pre-scoped solutions under the Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG) as well. The more popular generic software solutions are Accounting, HR & Payroll, E- Signatures, Digital Marketing etc.

Charities or SSAs that are interested to adopt the digital solutions will have to submit quotations from the approved PSG vendors during application.
